The Adventure Foundation experience is one that lays stress on character - building. Although character - building is long term, some participants return home radically changed by their exposure. Others will continue to work for varying period before the full impact is realized. If you desire you may receive a post-activity evaluation report detailing activities, environments and stresses encountered on the course and describing your child's attitude, reactions, accomplishments, behaviour changes, relationship and leadership qualities.

We begin every course, training your child in the skills, responsibilities and judgment necessary for safe wilderness travel. Our instructors closely supervise the participants until they demonstrate the complete confidence needed for greater self-reliance. It is an important step in the passage to adulthood becoming responsible for yourself and your companions. Safety is our top priority and woven through every one of our activities. While risk is an inherent part of all wilderness adventure our record of safety is unparallel in the field of outdoor pursuits. Statistically it is safer for your child to attend our organized activity than to stay at home. Your support will be of great benefit to your sons and daughters.
