Deo Sai Expeditions

YED organized two expeditions to Deo Sai during the month of August.

  1. Mr. Rafiullah and Ali Ayaz took a 16 members group to Deo Sai, the height of wilderness adventure for said event on August 4-12. Deo Sai at an average height of 4000 meters is world's height plateau and is the habitat of endangered Himalayan Brown Bear. It is also famous because of its wide variety of wild flowers. The expedition created a lot of interest among the participants, as one of the participants commented:
    "the experience was great. This expedition allowed me to feel nature. It was a tremendous learning experience as well". (Najiba Ali, Lahore)

  2. Sixteen adventure seekers from Lawrence College Ghora Gali undertook this expedition in August (10-19). Mr. Arif Tufail and Muhammad Rafi conducted the programme and satiated the participants' quest for adventure.
